Timing โฒ๏ธ :ย  Timing will be provided by Timing Plus New England

Fees ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ :ย  $25 online registration before 4/15/24, $35 after 4/15/24, and
day of race. Add $10 for a short-sleeved Tech T-Shirt ๐ŸŽฝ.

Race Day ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ :ย  Packet pickup 8:30 am-9:30 am. 10 am start with a word
from our director. Post race snacks and water are available for the
runners. There will be food vendors onsite along will community resource tables and other vendors

Course ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ :ย  Looking to set a PR or just want to get out and enjoy the
fresh Spring air, then this is the event for you. A relatively flat course
that will keep you moving forward. The start and finish line will be in
front of the club on Acorn St. you will turn right onto Courtland St. and
take a quick jog turning right onto Shattuck St. From here you will travel
down and turn right onto Oak Groove Ave. Follow Oak Groove until you
reach Bay St. where you will once again take a right turn. Bay St. will be
the longest section of the course, here you will follow the road through
Tapley St. taking a slight right at the fork. Continue on Bay until you
reach the entrance of Blunt Park Rd just before the Football field, turn
right. You will follow this until a fork, take the right to remain on
course, once you reach the senior center turn towards Roosevelt Ave.
Take a right onto Roosevelt and follow until Acorn where another right
turn will be awaiting you just before the AIC athletic complex. At the
Courtland intersection you will turn right and follow the road up to the
Margaret C. Elis school where you will use the traffic circle to turn
around and head back to the club for the finish line.

Water ๐Ÿšฐ :ย  There will be a water station at the entrance to Blunt Park
Road 2.5 Km into the race.
Parking ๐Ÿš—:ย  Lot between Garden St. and Shattuck St. off Courtland St.
there will be a shuttle service to the club. Handicap parking is available
at the club.

As we continue to celebrate 125 years of the Boys & Girls Club Family Center serving our
youth, we are proud to be able to host our first ever 5K Road Race and Walk. We are gearing
up to have an amazing turn out of serious runners, and support from our youth, families,
businesses, and local community members.
There are several ways that you can help make our 5K Road Race a resounding success. There
are several levels that you can review on the additional pages to see how you can sponsor. We
would also like for you to consider taking part in the 5K Road Race and Walk so that you can
better connect with our community and our club.

Together, we can make a difference. Not only that, but you can also make a childโ€™s dream come
true. Included with this letter, the informational sponsorship packet will detail every level of
involvement. The upcoming event is listed below.
