413Kicks was founded by Da-sha Wilson to help the kids and families of Springfield get sneakers on their feet. We know that it may be hard for some parents to provide their children with the best sneakers and no one should have to choose between paying bills and shoes on their child’s foot! 413Kicks partners with other community organizations to provide for those who are in need by building connections and sneaker collections. For the very first giveaway, the Boy’s and Girl’s Club Family Center was chosen! Each student was given sneakers for the new school year, whenever that may be. We hope that this one pair of sneakers will show recipients that they can do anything they dream of and as they walk in those shoes they walk down a prosperous path.
